VARIOBEND V 2.5 BASE FRAME
Variobend V2.5’s outstanding bending results are made possible by the exceptional rigidity of the base-frame. With this robust construction we can guarantee that the bending angle accuracy is preserved for a lot longer in comparison with the simpler U-profile. Additionally, the closed frame profile allows the V2.5 to operate without being anchored to the workshop floor. It can be easily adapted to uneven surfaces using precisely positioned adjustable feet.
FULLY AUTOMATED CUTTING – PATENTED
Automation makes this latest generation of our Variobend cutting device stand out. It is the first cutting device that fully adjusts to the selected material automatically. The cutting gap as well as the overlap automatically adjust in under one second. Capable of processing steel up to 2.50 mm thick, the device adapts based on bending thickness. Furthermore, the new positioning of the cutting rail provides additional space for flashings.

The V2.5’s new geometry, with a 300-degree bending range, offers enhanced versatility for profile production. It easily handles profiles with an aspect ratio of 1:2 and makes bending narrow counter edges of 12 mm a standard feature. The system also supports a maximum bending angle of 150 degrees and incorporates Variobend’s signature inclined bending beams, providing additional space. VARIOBEND GRIPPER SYSTEM
The use of gripper fingers further automates the production process, enhancing both the productivity and precision. With different optional opening circuits, a single operator can simultaneously produce multiple profiles and remove them individually. The newly developed gripper system of the V2.5 achieves a minimum gripper dimension of 18 mm and a gripping height of 38 mm for existing bends. If the gripper dimension falls below the minimum, the stop fingers activate automatically. Additionally, the new optional double gripper allows for the automatic production of short flashings. Extra grippers can be customized to meet specific customer requirements.
VARIOBEND V2.5 DPR – SYSTEM
Our recently introduced DPR system (Dynamic Pressure Regulation) enables individual adjustment of clamping pressure on each stand. This innovation ensures perfectly opened hems across the entire working length. Additionally, the system enhances crowning performance by allowing bending angle corrections through variable clamping pressures.
VARIOBEND V2.5 SAFETY
The safety concept of the new V2.5 meets all current safety regulations while being user-friendly. Clamping beam protection and lateral moveable L-shapes allow the operators maximum freedom of movement without restrictions that could impair the manufacturing process. Emergency stop safeguards and enabling pedal for two-man operation are standard.
VARIOBEND HIGH-STRENGHT CLAMPING BEAM SEGMENTS
Extra hardened bending and clamping beam sections ensure best folding results. If ever damaged, any of the segments (80cm length) can be replaced separately. No more replacing or repairing entire bending or clamping beams!
